We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic medical team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality physical therapy services to patients with various physical conditions, primarily in the field of orthopedics.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment where you can apply and enhance your skills while making a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:
30-40 hours per week (Would consider part-time as well)1.
Evaluating patients' physical conditions and developing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
2.
Implementing therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, assistive and adaptive devices, and patient education.
3.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
4.
Documenting patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and communicating with patients and their families about treatment goals and expectations.
5.
Staying updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy and integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
6.
Adhering to all professional standards, regulations, and policies related to physical therapy practice.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Physical Therapist position, you must meet the following
Qualifications:
1.
A Master's or Doctor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Curriculum.
2.
A valid New York State license to practice Physical Therapy.
3.
Experience in Orthopedics is a plus.
4.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
5.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
6.
A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping people improve their physical health and quality of life.
Experience with orthopedics will be considered a significant advantage.
